About Us From 1985 through 1995, Norman Katz, founder of Katzscan Inc., had career positions from Programmer to Business Systems Analyst to Information Technology Manager while working for some of the countries most recognized brand-name companies, including Fotomat, Tropicana Products, Hanes, and Gitano. In January 1996, Norman decided to chart his own course and started Katzscan Inc.   Katzscan's business model has grown from its core specialties (barcode applications, Electronic Data Interchange, Supply Chain Vendor Compliance, ERP Systems) over the years, and now includes turnaround management help, supply chain fraud detection and reduction and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and good governance. Combining business-savvy with technical prowess and inborn creativity, Norman has effectively and efficiently produced successes for his clients where others have failed, solving some significant problems and rescuing clients from dire circumstances.  Norman graduated from the University of Florida in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Computer Information Sciences, and has a Certification in Corporate Governance from Tulane University College of Law.  Norman is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS), and a licensed Florida Private Investigator.  Katzscan maintains memberships with both fraud certification national associations and local chapters.   Norman is a national presenter and is nationally published, each over 25 times.
